Harry and I sang Christmas Carols to Miss Peggy Lee over the phone on Christmas Day 1993.

Just two days later, she sang "Happy Birthday" back to me over the phone!

I first met the fabulous Miss Lee as I turned a corner to get a drink of water during a George Shearing session at Capitol Records in the early 1960's.

She is doing very well and loved receiving all those hundreds and hundreds of Happy Birthday cards this year from all her friends and fans!
