This is where the group does its setup, puts in their own amp stax and stuff; the engineer is putting mikes in and setting up the board.

It's hard to imagine it, but we only had 4 tracks maximum at this time--you had to "ping-pong" tracks sound-over-sound to get multitrack effects, and as for echo and reverb, you went down the hall!
